The 2026 Joint Annual Meeting (JAM) - hosted by the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS), Association of Genetic Technologists (AGT), and Society of American Federal Medical Laboratory Scientists (SAFMLS)—is your opportunity to connect directly with laboratory professionals and decision makers.

This summer, JAM will bring together over 800 leaders, practitioners, and students in clinical laboratory science for a single, integrated educational program. With sessions, poster presentations, and both in-person and virtual participation, attendees will explore how cutting-edge practices are reshaping the future of laboratory medicine and advancing patient safety and care. Whether joining us in St. Louis or online, JAM is a celebration of our professional community and its impact.

JAM redefines how industry and professionals collaborate. Opportunities for attendees and industry partners to engage are integrated throughout the meeting, ensuring that industry engagement is part of the learning experience.

  • Full participation: Industry partners are registered attendees, encouraged to join sessions relevant to their diagnostic areas or broader interests.
  • Extended visibility: The digital hub provides access to attendees before, during, and after the event, with session recordings available throughout July to maximize engagement opportunities.

Together, laboratory professionals and industry partners create an environment of learning, creativity, and innovation. JAM is more than a meeting—it’s a collaborative platform designed to strengthen relationships and inspire progress in laboratory medicine.

Tentative Schedule for Industry Engagement

Industry tabletop displays will be located within our meeting space, creating the potential for attendee engagement throughout the meeting. Dedicated time for industry engagement (extended breaks in which educational sessions are not occurring) is built into the meeting schedule.

Monday, June 29, 2026

  • 8:00 am – 12:00 pm: Partner Move-In 
  • 12:00 pm – 6:15 pm: Opening Keynote followed by concurrent programming, industry engagement & networking 
  • 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm: JAM Presidents Reception (open to all attendees, industry partners are encouraged to participate)

Tuesday, June 30, 2026

  • 6:00 am - 7:00 am: JAM 5K
  • 8:00 am – 5:00 pm: Concurrent programming, posters, industry engagement & networking

Wednesday, July 1, 2026

  • 8:00 am – 4:00 pm: Concurrent programming, posters, industry engagement/networking
